Catalyst is an email discussion list for web developers and designers, focusing on internet work and new media for the most part. This site maintains some lists of Web Design and Web Coding resources, based in part on group discussions.
This is a discussion list for practising web professionals: if you're a designer or developer, you have to show some professional work in order to join the list (web techs and sysadmins are exempt, obviously). So, send an email to the moderator with some links to your work, or otherwise explaining your background, as well as sending a normal 'subscribe' email:
You might also email the moderator if you are looking for an Australian Christian web designer or developer for a project. Most of us are already committed to a variety of non-profit or pro-bono projects, though we may well entertain sufficiently interesting requests along those lines as well.
